Pinterest Challenge!

 

Well I took the bait and joined the Pinterest Challange.  What you haven't heard?  Well here are the deets.  Sherry from Young House Love, Katie from Bower Power, along with the great Ana White from Ana-White and Erin from House of Earnest , issued the great Pinterest Challenge!  So we are to find something that inspires us on Pinterest and make it, sew it, craft it, with our own little twist!  So I took the challenge!

Oy!  This was real hard.  While I have lots of fun stuff on my boards, which one to do?  Plus we are having major landscaping done, so life is a little crazy!  So I called upon DD, who herself has just discovered Pinterest!  But she just sends me recipes and says make for me!  So here is what I came up with!


I have been wanting to do a gallery wall  for a long time, but on which wall and with what?  Well what do you think?

Please forgive this is real hard to photograph.  It is a real awkward space and sorry I don't have any before pics.  Just picture a blank wall! 

I still have a few small things to add, but am loving how it is turning out.  Mostly it is pics of the kids from their cute baby pics, to fishing with Dad.  Of course I have their senior marching band pics as well as family pics over the years.  The flag I found at an antique mall years ago.  It is crocheted and has 48 stars!  It is for my family's heritage, we have been here awhile!  The Rosmaling spoon is for my husbands Norwegian heritage, and the small mirror is an advertising mirror from the town in ND that his Dad is from.
