Sorry I have been missing in action the last few weeks. I have been helping my Mom get her master shower redone. Mom lives in a retirement community nearby and her house is 37 years old. The old master shower was an insert, yuck, and we wanted it gone! She really didn't use this bath, as it was deemed, Dad's bath, and since my Dad passed in 2010, it has just sat. So time to renew and refresh.
Here is a pic of before.
The hole in the wall was where a handicap bar was installed incorrectly. The shower door had been removed in 2009 for easier access for my Dad. Definitely ready for a change.

We had it tiled from floor to ceiling and even around the window! Had a little bench put in and the niche as well.

I even had a new toilet installed, she didn't want one, but it needed it. The vanity is on the other side of the doorway. We took the door out, and will be putting a door in the space from the bedroom to the vanity, still working on that.
She is having her shower door installed today, so will take more pics then. She is so excited to use it, and is showing it off to all her girlfriends. Now I just have to work on the vanity area with its 37 year old counter top, can you say, yucky!
