Well I am going to do it I am going to take the plunge. I have read all the wonderful blogs about repurposing things, so I am going to do it! I saw some great 50's style folding chairs the other day at the thrift store, they were $2 each. Should have bought them then, but I am going back to day with DH, hoping they are still there. When we have BBQ's we always are short chairs, so these would be perfect. I will take pics of them before I 'redo' them! Wish me luck!

My Hummingbird My Friend

Have you ever watched a humming bird? Really studied them? They are such amazing creatures! I am lucky enough to live in CA where we have hummers year round. During the spring and summer we also get those species that migrate up from Mexico, Black Chinned, Rufous and an occasional Calliope!

I have been lucky enough to capture these creatures on film. So for your enjoyment!

We just got back from Alaska! Went for our 25th! It was a lot of fun and our 4th time, and 4th cruise! We all love Alaska, it is always different every time we go. The pic on top is of the gorgeous sunset we had leaving Ketchikan. Did some fishing and now have a freezer full of Alaskan Salmon, Yum!

She wouldn't touch it, so that is the captian of the boat we were fishing on. I think she caught the big one of the day, although don't tell DS that!
